SpecViper Private Limited provides LanceTime, a secure virtual marketplace where clients and freelancers can work through verified accounts, milestone payments, and optional secure virtual workspaces.
Where LanceTime collects payments
LanceTime collects platform payments only for two categories: subscription plans and virtual machine or secure workspace charges. Milestone escrow amounts are project funds paid by clients for freelancer work and are handled according to the milestone flow.
- Basic plan: payment gateway charges plus LanceTime commission.
- Pro plan: payment gateway charges only.
- Virtual machines: charged based on licenses, service, resources, and hours.

Final charges, taxes, payment gateway charges, currency conversion charges, and any applicable deductions will be shown before payment wherever technically possible. Pricing may change based on launch offers, payment partner rules, workspace requirements, and applicable law.
How milestone escrow works
A client creates a milestone and pays the milestone amount through the payment gateway. The amount is held for that milestone until the work is completed and reviewed.
After the freelancer submits the work, the client can approve, reject, request partial payment, or raise a dispute. Approved funds move to the freelancer's releasable balance after applicable plan charges. Withdrawals are available after KYC and verified bank details.
Billing notes
Payment gateway charges may differ for domestic and international payments. Location, payment method, currency, card network, bank, taxes, and payment partner policies may affect the final amount.
