These Terms & Conditions apply to the SpecViper Private Limited website, LanceTime marketplace, subscription plans, milestone payment flow, and secure workspace services.
This website and the LanceTime project are owned and operated by SpecViper Private Limited, recognized under Startup India. By using our website, products, or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any service rules shown during signup, payment, onboarding, or project creation.
SpecViper builds software products, secure workspaces, AI-supported tools, and LanceTime, a secure virtual marketplace for freelancers and clients. LanceTime helps clients post work, hire freelancers, create milestones, manage payments, and request secure virtual machines or workspaces where required by a project.
Users must provide accurate information, protect their account access, complete required verification, use the platform lawfully, and follow project agreements made with other users. Users are responsible for activity performed through their account and must notify SpecViper if they suspect unauthorized access.
LanceTime collects payment only for subscriptions and virtual machine or secure workspace charges. The Basic subscription includes payment gateway charges plus LanceTime commission. The Pro subscription includes only payment gateway charges, based on the client and freelancer location, payment method, and payment partner rules. Taxes, currency conversion, bank charges, or gateway charges may apply where relevant.
Clients may fund milestones or services in advance. Funds are released to freelancers after the agreed work is completed and approved according to platform rules and payment partner policies. The milestone amount is project money held for release, refund, cancellation, or dispute resolution. It is not a separate LanceTime service charge.
Clients are responsible for providing clear project requirements, reviewing submitted work on time, and funding agreed milestones. Freelancers are responsible for performing agreed work, respecting client confidentiality, using secure workspaces properly, and submitting accurate completion updates.
Where required, clients may request virtual machines or controlled workspaces for freelancers. Users must not misuse access, copy restricted information, bypass workspace security controls, install unauthorized tools, or use the workspace for any activity outside the agreed project scope.
Freelancer withdrawals may require KYC and verified bank details. Payment processing, settlement timelines, chargebacks, and refund movement may depend on banks, payment gateways, and applicable regulations.
Users must not use the platform for fraud, illegal activity, harassment, unauthorized data access, payment abuse, security bypassing, or any activity that harms SpecViper, LanceTime, or other users.
If a project issue occurs, LanceTime may review project records, milestone status, communication, submitted work, and payment history. Outcomes may include approval, rejection, partial payment, cancellation, refund, or continued work.
SpecViper aims to provide reliable services, but availability may be affected by maintenance, third-party providers, internet issues, payment gateways, banks, or force majeure events. Features, pricing, payment flows, and workspace options may change as the product evolves.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpecViper is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profit, third-party service failures, bank delays, payment gateway decisions, or misuse of accounts, projects, or workspaces by users.
SpecViper may update these terms as products, pricing, payment flows, and platform features evolve. Updated terms will be published on this website.
